While there’s no shortage of stars on the Niners who were picked after the first round, from wide receiver Deebo Samuel to tight end George Kittle and linebacker Fred Warner (all three are All-Pro selections from recent seasons), it’s the first round that captures the attention of your average fan.

While drafts will still love the three days of the draft, endlessly arguing online about who the real draft thieves are, your Joe and Jane Six-Pack probably won’t be so thrilled by it.

As a team that has cornerback needs, there might be something going up to grab one of the best cornerbacks on the board or someone else tickling a fancy.
In fact, it might not even have to be a first-round pick, San Francisco could just choose to make it into the top 50 pick or so.
