Poland 85, Israel 76

Poland (2-1) held off Israel (2-1) with a dominating game inside the paint to hand Israel their first loss in Group D. Washington Wizards forward Deni Avdija finished with three points, eight rebounds and three assists while AJ Slaughter led Poland to victory with 24 points and five assists. Israel takes on Serbia at 3 p.m. ET on September 6.

Croatia 73, Estonia 70

Croatia (2-1) prevailed in a tight Group C game as Estonia (0-3), without a win, tried to claim victory in the 4th quarter. Phoenix Suns big man Dario Saric propelled Croatia to victory with 15 points, 12 rebounds and three assists while LA Clippers center Ivica Zubac, Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic and freelance forward Mario Hezonja each added 17 points.
