Breakdown of week 1: Stephen Curry was the driving force behind Golden State for a 3-0 start to open 2021-22. He started the week with a triple-double (21 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers. From there, he played a 45-point, 10-rebound game two days later in a win over the LA Clippers and concluded things with a performance of 27 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists against the Kings of Sacramento.

Breakdown of week 1: The Hornets are off to a 3-0 start and much of the credit goes to Miles Bridges’ stellar performance. He demonstrated his overall ability in the season opener, finishing with 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals against the Indiana Pacers. From there, he took off, dropping 30 points and grabbing seven rebounds against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Finally, Bridges ended his week with a performance of 32 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals against the favorite Brooklyn Nets in a Charlotte game.
